Designed with both protection and comfort in mind for your dog and engineered using premium aircraft-grade sound reduction foam, this headset effectively shields your dog’s ears from engine noise without causing discomfort. The gel ear cups will specially mold to contour perfectly to any dog’s head, creating a gentle, noise-reducing seal.
Constructed with durable webbing attachment points, this headset stays secure without collecting pet hair or causing irritation. The soft, non-toxic materials provide a comfortable fit, while the breakaway chin-strap clip ensures a safe release in case of any unexpected movement, preventing choking hazards.

How to Measure
The overall circumference measurement of your dog's head at the largest point is the best determination of size, because if you choose a size too large, the muffs won't seal well against his head, and you lose all the sound-reducing properties you were shooting for.
The circumference is the measurement that would create a circle by going across the top of the dog's head, over the ears, and under the chin. Your dog's weight is also a good indicator of which size to choose.

Initial testing was performed on a 54 year old male test subject. A baseline hearing test was obtained in soundfield under calibrated and controlled conditions in a sound treated room using pulsed warble tones for 8 frequencies (250Hz - 8000Hz) in an open-ear condition with sound sources placed at 90 and 180 degrees azimuth.
Subsequent testing was performed under the same conditions but covering the open ears with the Mutt Muff© product and then the 4 Paws Aviation product. Threshold detection levels at the eight test frequencies were averaged together to compare the amount of sound reduction in decibels (dBHL). Raw data shows an average of 26.875dBHL for the Mutt Muff© product and an average of 41.875dBHL for the 4 Paws Aviation product.
The higher the number of dBHL, the greater the amount of sound reduction and subsequent better hearing protection. Conclusion: The 4 Paws Aviation product shows a significantly higher amount of average sound reduction compared to the Mutt Muff© product.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
