SUPER HEAVY DUTY

 

For a long time, I believed that our Leather Leashes were the softest leather that could be found, but quite by accident I came across this "Soft Hide" Leather that is incredible. They are made from a noticeably different leather than our Premium Leather but made by the same craftsman. Hand stitched and rivetted, they don't have those quick release horse snaps that I have seen slip but all are fitted with solid brass hardware.

Our Soft Hide leather 1" x 6ft leash is a super heavy duty leash ideal for large, strong dogs and can be used for pet dogs, security or police dogs, during bite work training and other high end activities. 

 

The Leather is from large stock that are from cold weather areas so the hide is very thick and very soft, I still believe our Premium Series to be a stronger leash but you won’t break these either! I had a couple of these on test in our training room and each time I went to grab a leash to work a dog, I just kept grabbing these, the feel they have in the hand is really like no other leather you will come across. The extra thickness means they are so easy to hold onto and never slip through your hands.

    Simply brilliant, tried many nylon leads & will never look back from these leather leads. The leather is so soft & gets softer. The weight & grip means you don't have to hold tight just sits in your hand. Nicely versatile too I let him have the whole lead if it's time for a sniff & loop it in half with the brass loop if it's time to heel. Couldn't recommend highly enough

    The weight in this lead makes such a difference to my dogs responsiveness. Well worth the investment!

    I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my wife. We use them to work our gsd's. I have never owned a better leash. In fact I don't think there is a better one. I originally was after the premium leather leash bit Im so glad I got the soft hide. The dogs even know and behave better.

    This is a gorgeous leash that is also super strong. It looks all business and still the leather is soft on the hand right from new.
