Springer Bike

Excellent product. Just changed the lead as the cord was a bit short.

Thought the Springer looked the goods compared to other products on the market so I took the plunge and ordered. It arrived yesterday and didn't take long to fit up. The lost star in the ratings is because the manufacturer should supply spring washers or nylok nuts to ensure nothing comes loose.
I have ditched the breakaway device and replaced it with an elasticised 60cm leash extension and carabiner.
First outing was a walk of about 50m then I just hopped on and rode slowly for about 400m. Charlie, my 16 month old border collie, has taken to it like a duck to water! Went out again later that afternoon and he is confidently doing right and left turns and matching his pace to mine as well as keeping a loose leash most of the time. Now I'll gradually increase distance and pace to build his fitness.
Given my very limited experience to date I'd highly recommend the Springer.

I love this product. My dog loves running with the bike and I can barely feel any deviation she makes during the ride. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have an 18 month old Border Collie who requires plenty of exercise. I had to find a way to exercise her that was fun for both of us. The Springer Bike is perfect. I thought there may be a learning curve but she took to it straight away without any problems. I have had a test of how it would work if she really pulled when another dog ran at her and everything worked how it should. I could barely feel the sudden jerk. I feel safe riding with her and know she is safe. Supplied cord a little too short but I just replaced that. I am working up to her fitness and try to give her a combination of grass and bitumen to harden her feet. I would definitely recommend this product.
