Common Q & A
Can I use this on all skin types?
Yes, Dermal Oil is very safe to use on all skin types, including noses, paws and tummies.
Is it safe if my pet licks the oil off their skin?
Yes, Dermal Oil is made from all natural ingredients and is completely safe if your pet licks it off their skin. We always try to encourage pet owners to distract their pets for a few minutes to allow the product to absorb into the skin.
Can I use this on broken skin?
Yes, it is very safe to use on broken, cuts and grazes affecting the epidermis and dermis layers. The only time we recommend not using Dermal Oil in on very deep wounds and gashes affecting the deeper hypodermis layers, which are made of body fat and connective tissue. These wounds generally need stitches and should heal more slowly than the top layers of the skin.
What is the difference between Dermal Cream and Dermal Oil?
Dermal Cream is a similar product but with a rich, creamy feel, while Dermal Oil is an oily substance. Dermal Cream is an excellent moisturising product for dry and damaged skin, while Dermal Oil is an effective to nourish the skin and includes eucalyptus oil as a natural skin barrier.
Will this burn their skin in the sun?
All our skin products are designed to be used without the need to cover the skin after use. They are not photosensitive and do not have a chemical reaction when exposed to light and sun.
How do you use it?
Dermal Oil is very easy to use. As a barrier oil, simply add a few drops to the palm of your hands, rub your palms together and then spread over the fur. As a skin barrier, simply separate the fur and drizzle a few drops directly onto the skin.
Please note this is a healthcare item. Once used we can accept any returns or exchanges unless we believe there is a fault with the product.
We cannot accept a return on change of mind, or the dog does not like the use/ feel. Once they are used, we cannot accept back for hygienic purposes.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping Policy
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
